A Blackstar Theatrical Resurrection
Released worldwide as a digital download on December 17, 2015 (FLAC/CDR promo December 20), David Bowie’s “Lazarus” was the second single from Blackstar. Premiered the same day on BBC Radio 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq show, this 6:22 jazz-rock epic — with Donny McCaslin’s sax, Tim Lefebvre bass, and Mark Guiliana drums — was produced/mixed by Bowie & Tony Visconti. Issued digitally via Columbia/ISO (Europe) and promo CDR (Japan). A haunting Blackstar preview.
