June 4, 2022: Diamonds And Pearls / Nothing Compares 2 U

(Live At Glam Slam) was distributed as a single to all attendees of the Paisley Park Studios’ 2022 Prince Celebration, held from June 2-5, 2022. This release coincided with a big-screen presentation of Prince and the New Power Generation's performance at Prince’s Minneapolis nightclub, Glam Slam, from January 11, 1992, featuring live accompaniment by band members and other versions of the New Power Generation.

The single was announced on May 23, 2022, and was not made widely available for purchase or streaming. At that time, there were rumors that the Diamonds And Pearls (Super) Deluxe Edition (tentatively titled Diamonds & Love) would be released later that year. However, the box set was ultimately released the following year, including the full Glam Slam performance on audio and Blu-ray.

The single features the same typography as other singles from the album’s 1992 release, including the Paisley Park Records label.
