Magnet Records Double Jingle Promo

Released as a promo-only 7-inch vinyl single in the UK on January 19, 1974, on Magnet Records (catalogue: MAG 5003 / MAG 5004), this rare double-sided jingle disc featured short promotional spots for Peter Shelley and Alvin Stardust. Side A contained a brief “Gee Baby” LP jingle for Peter Shelley, while Side B featured an “Alvin Stardust” LP jingle. Both were designed to promote their respective debut albums on the Magnet label. This was a very limited, radio/trade-only release.

Track Listing

A: Gee Baby (LP) Jingle – Peter Shelley

B: Alvin Stardust (LP) Jingle – Alvin Stardust

Production & Notes

Each side contains just a brief jingle (no full songs), one for Pete and one for Alvin. Issued exclusively for promotional use — not sold commercially. Extremely rare among collectors of 1970s glam and pop memorabilia.
