Released as a 7-inch vinyl single in the UK on November 26, 1982, on Warner Bros. Records (catalogue: K 15004), Alice Cooper’s “I Am The Future” was taken from the soundtrack to the film Class Of 1984 (and later included on Zipper Catches Skin). Backed with “Zorro's Ascent,” this hard rock anthem — co-written with Gary Osborne & Lalo Schifrin (A) and Cooper/Billy Steele/Erik Scott/John Nitzinger (B) — was produced by Alice Cooper & Erik Scott. No UK chart entry. Issued worldwide with no UK variants. A cult ‘80s Cooper classic.
