A Millionaire Waltz Glam Opera
Released as a vinyl LP in the UK on December 10, 1976, on EMI Records (catalogue: EMTC 104 / 0C 066-98 485), Queen’s A Day At The Races — their fifth studio album — was the sequel to A Night At The Opera. Produced by Queen at Sarm East, Roundhouse, Olympic, Rockfield, Scorpio, and Lansdowne, this 10-track masterpiece featured “Somebody To Love,” “Tie Your Mother Down,” and “Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy.” Peaked at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart. Issued in gatefold sleeve, cassette, and 8-track variants.
